How Magical are those Comfrey blossoms. You are even able to see those fairy’s hanging on them playing their tiny flutes, bringing joy to the place. Comfrey is derived from the Latin word conferva “to grow together”. In Greek, symphytos means “to unite”. It is also known as Boneset and Knitbone for its abillity to restore broken bones.
Comfrey has a long history of use since the ancient days. Is one of the best allies for healing deep emotional wounds. The shock and disruption that can occur to our emotional and energetic body needs the same type of reweaving, repair, and restoration as our cells do.
My experience with comfrey resonates with the powerful initiatory rite of dismemberment. Comfey is a great ally on binding the pieces together after those initiatory processes, not only on a physical level but also on a spiritual level. Re-building our body with new energy, taking away what does not serves us anymore. It restores and unite our physical, energetical and spiritual bodies, bringing balance to our lives to further go with our own personal journey. 💫🌀
On a physical level it is best known for its vulnerary properties, its ability to assist the body to heal wounds. Comfrey contains allantoin, a cell proliferate that speeds the regeneration of cells. But also used to stop bleeding, it has been used for rashes, varicose veins, inflammation and in the healing of broken bones. Comfrey also has uses for the respiratory system, and can treat bronchitis and sore throats; colitis, stomach inflammation, ulcers and overactive bladder.
Come meet the Magic of Comfrey, dance and play with the Fairy’s. Life is a celebration.
