The Holly tree symbolize the enduring nature of life during the dark days of winter. The evergreen leaves of Holly became symbols of hope for continued life. Represents personal sacrifice in order to gain something of greater value. Its Spirit ask us to dive right into our emotions whether they be dark or not, as we need to integrate them to foward keep with our journey, to reach wise decisions about our situation. The often painful consequences of our actions are brought to the surface for examination, and calm acceptance of our responsibility is required. We are reminded of the need to view ourselves, as well as others, in the light of compassion and unconditional love. 🗝❤️

Since the ancient days the Holly tree has been associated with protection, but actually what it shows us is that if we’ve been suffering from any kind of attack it’s because we have those tendencies in us too, there’s no gain in blaming or raging against outside energies. The Holly tree teaches us that the best shield is originally based on complete openness. Closing ourselves down and contracting requires a tremendous effort to resist the assault of outside pressure. With an open natural loving state however, the experience is like a radiant sun of heart-centered consciousness shining effortlessly, the best protection against negativity. The best thing to do then is to disentangle ourselves from these frequencies, applying the wisdom of impartial love to the dis-ease of fear-based mentality. The more we do that, the more we are shielded from attack. Holly brings life and creativity during difficult and challenging times. As an evergreen that reminds us of our inner strength and endurance. 🌿✨️
