Because the Poplar is such an ancient Tree, it bears a powerful energy that can open us up to a closer connection with our ancient ones, those whose ways and names are lost to the mists of time. That reminder is in every bud and flower, and certainly, in the roots of these magnificent ancient Trees. They have witnessed countless changes over time, and they stand with us today to share that ancient wisdom and bridge to tomorrow.
The Poplar’s ability to resist and to shield what comes to disrupt, its association with speech, language and the Winds, the carriers of Spirit, indicates an ability to endure. The Poplar is known as the “Tree that transcends fear”. They symbolize the magic of joy, the aging of the year, resurrection and hope, and as all the trees, they are open pathways to the Spirit realm where many spirits can pass through, as this, they always must be approached with great respect, true intentions and open hearts. 🗝✨
Poplar Trees reminds us to release our old habits of self criticism and guilt, and to face our fears so that we may believe in our own abilities and know our true self. It helps us to overcome the urge to give up under the burden of worldly pressures, and aids in determination.
As the wind passes through the leaves, they whisper a message of peace, listen within yourself and find comfort in the still, small voice of calm; the voice of the Spirit moving through the silence within us. It teaches the lesson of fearlessness, and gives us the strength to face fear that comes with the unknown. Helps us to understand that the power of love stands behind and overcomes all things. Once we know this to be true, we are beyond pain, suffering, care, worry, and fear, and we become participants of true joy. 🏹✨🍃
